IRA Distrib / Stocks
Required minimum distributions (RMDs) must be taken each year from an IRA beginning with the year you turn age 70 ½. A “qualified charitable distribution” is a way to transfer directly all or part of the RMD from your IRA to Olympic Neighbors without increasing your adjusted gross income. Consider donating stocks or bonds to Olympic Neighbors! Gifting stocks or bonds that you have owned for at least one year are eligible for a deduction of the full mean market value of the security on the date that we receive it. You not only receive an income tax deduction for the full fair market value, you also avoid capital gains tax on the appreciate. Do you have old furniture taking up space in your house? Vintage jewelry? Antique home goods? Are you ready to let go of those items for the right cause? Look no further – Olympic Neighbors now has a consignment account with Cherry Blossom. Donate your item(s) to the Olympic Neighbors account (#750) and Cherry Blossom with split the money generated from the sale of the item with Olympic Neighbors.
It’s so easy. Just bring your item to Cherry Blossom or send a photo to email@example.com . Make sure you let them know that the item is for the Olympic Neighbors account (#750).They take furniture, home goods and decorations, kitchenware, jewelry…
