Together we can get through this

We are reaching out to you, because we need help meeting our fundraising goals for the year. We are doing all we can to tighten our belt and get through this challenging time so we can continue to provide essential residential services such as affordable housing and 24-hour staff support to adults with developmental disabilities.

This online giving campaign could not be more timely. Many of our fundraising events have been cancelled or had low turnout due to the corona virus. Our individual donations are down for the year. We need your support now more than ever. We are projecting a revenue loss of up to $40,000 this year.

We understand that you may have been impacted by the corona virus as well. In that case, we ask only that you share our Give Big campaign with others who may in a position to donate this year.

This year Give Big, Washington State’s time of the year that is dedicated to giving back to local nonprofits has been extended to a 2-day even on May 5th & 6th.

We have set a goal to raise $4,000 this year AND thanks to early donors we are already 25% of the way to reaching that goal!

Your support helps us to continue to pay our AMAZING and essential staff a livable wage and ensures that our most vulnerable citizens continue to get the care they require during this pandemic.

In light of what is happening across the globe, Give Big is a 2-day event this year.  Did you know that donors are 4 times as likely to donate to a cause if other people have already made donations? Can you be a champion for our cause?

If you were planning on donating to Olympic Neighbors this Give Big, we hope you will consider donating early and helping us inspire others to give.

Please consider making a donation that fits within your budget. To make a donation or find out more visit our page at

As part of the Coronavirus Economic Relief Act, anyone who donates this year will be able to get on off the top tax deduction when you file your 2020 federal income taxes EVEN if you claim the standard deduction. This means that you can decide where up to $300 of your tax dollars go by donating to nonprofits.

All donations are tax-deductible and support programs designed to help adults with developmental disabilities live, work and play in the community.

We know these hard times won’t last forever. We look forward to sharing brighter days with you again.

Thank you from the
Olympic Neighbors Team
